Terminology and Interface Overview
Welcome to Goalpost, where the excitement of betting meets the thrill of strategy. Let's familiarize you with the game's core terms and elements that you'll encounter during gameplay.
The Goalposts
The Goalposts are the heart of our game, defining the range for the Kicker Card to land.
Core Layout | The Post Cards & Kicker Card
LEFT POST - Known as the Low Card, it sets the lower boundary for the Kicker Card.
RIGHT POST - This is the High Card, establishing the upper limit for the Kicker Card.
KICKER CARD - Also referred to as the Shot/Score Card, it is the card that will determine your fate in the game.
Player Interface
Your portal to Goalpost's world, the Player Interface, changes whether you're the Kicker or not.
UI - Not Kicker
Dynamic Action Display - Constantly updating to keep you informed about the table's status.
Player Turn Locator - Highlights who the current Kicker is.
Active Pot Display - Shows the total amount up for grabs that the Kicker can win.
Quick Reactions - Enables live interactions for ongoing table engagement.
Countdown Timer - Ticks down the Kicker's remaining time to make a move.
Wagering Options
When it's your turn to be the Kicker, here are the choices at your fingertips:
Minimum - The baseline bet equal to the table's ante fee.
Half Bet - Puts half of the table pot on the line.
Max Bet - Your highest possible wager, within the table's limits.
Current Active Pot - Matches the active pot size, if your balance is below it.
Custom Wager - Gives you control over your bet with:
Pop up slider - Slide to select your wager.
Entering numbers manually - Type in your desired amount.
Skip Turn - Opt-out of wagering for this round, avoiding risk but also potential reward.
Navigate the game with confidence, as each element of the interface is designed to provide a seamless and intuitive gaming experience.
